For packages delivered to Australia, a 10% GST is imposed on the various costs required to deliver the product, such as the total product price, the proxy purchase fee, the shipping fee to WorldShopping warehouse, the International shipping fee, and the international shipping handling fee. If the total product price is less than 1,000 AUD, WorldShopping collects it from the customer at the Second payment and pays it to the Australian Taxation Office on their behalf. If it is 1,000 AUD or more, the GST is paid to both WorldShopping and the Shipping carrier.

When the total product price is less than 1,000 AUD — Paying WorldShopping in full
When the total of the product price and the shipping fee to WorldShopping warehouse is less than 1,000 AUD, WorldShopping collects the GST from the customer at the Second payment and pays it to the Australian Taxation Office on their behalf.
Billing details at the first payment:
- A: Total product price
- B: shipping fee to WorldShopping warehouse
- C: Proxy purchase fee
Billing details at the second payment:
- D: International shipping fee
- E: International shipping handling fee, etc.
- F: GST (10% of the total of A to E)
The customer does not need to pay GST to the Shipping carrier upon delivery.
*If GST is billed by the Shipping carrier upon delivery even after the full GST has been paid at the Second payment, please pay it first and then contact WorldShopping Customer Support. When contacting us, please include the order number and attach the receipt of the payment made to the Shipping carrier to ensure a smoother confirmation process.
When the total product price is 1,000 AUD or more — Paying both WorldShopping and the Shipping carrier
When the total of the product price and the shipping fee to WorldShopping warehouse is 1,000 AUD or more, the GST is paid separately to both WorldShopping and the Shipping carrier. The GST on the international shipping is paid to WorldShopping at the Second payment, and the GST on the product price is paid to the Shipping carrier upon delivery.

- Separately from GST, customs duties may be imposed when the product is imported
- Whether the package contents are 1,000 AUD or more, or less, is determined by converting at the exchange rate specified by WorldShopping.
