For packages delivered to Singapore, a 9% GST (Goods and Services Tax) applies based on the request of the Singapore government. If the total product amount is under SGD 400, WorldShopping collects it from you at the second payment and pays it to the Singapore government together. If it is SGD 400 or more, you pay it directly to the carrier when the product arrives.
What is GST
GST (Goods and Services Tax) is a goods and services tax imposed by the Singapore government. A 9% GST is imposed on the various costs including the product price.
When the total product amount is under SGD 400 ── pay WorldShopping all together
When the total of "total product amount + shipping fee to WorldShopping warehouse" is under SGD 400, WorldShopping collects the GST from you at the second payment and pays it to the Singapore government together.
Billing details at the first payment:
- A: Total product amount
- B: Shipping fee to WorldShopping warehouse
- C: Proxy purchasing fee
Billing details at the second payment:
- D: International shipping fee
- E: International shipping handling fee, etc.
- F: GST (9% of the total of A to E)
You do not need to pay GST to the carrier when the product arrives.
※ If GST is billed by the Shipping carrier upon delivery even after the full GST has been paid at the Second payment, please pay it first and then contact WorldShopping Customer Support. When contacting us, please include the order number and attach the receipt of the payment made to the Shipping carrier to ensure a smoother confirmation process.
When the total product amount is SGD 400 or more ── pay the carrier directly
When the total of "total product amount + shipping fee to WorldShopping warehouse" is SGD 400 or more, WorldShopping does not collect the GST. You pay the GST directly to the carrier when the product arrives.

Billing details at the second payment (payment to WorldShopping):
- D: International shipping fee
- E: International shipping handling fee, etc.
Payment when the product arrives (payment to the carrier):

- Separately from GST, customs duties may be imposed when the product is imported
- Whether it is under SGD 400 or more is determined by converting at the exchange rate specified by WorldShopping
