Types of products that cannot be proxy purchased
Products that cannot be proxy purchased through WorldShopping are broadly divided into the following four categories. Please refer to the related articles for details on each category.
1.Items that cannot be shipped due to laws or international regulations
These are products that cannot be shipped overseas for safety or legal reasons, such as hazardous materials, living things, explosives, pharmaceuticals, and weapons.

2.Products with handling restrictions
For the following products, proxy purchasing may or may not be possible depending on the type or ingredients of the product. For details, see each article.

3.Intangible products and participation-type products
Intangible products such as those listed below, as well as products that require participation, cannot be purchased through the proxy purchasing service.
- Download content (products consisting only of digital data)
- Serial numbers (where there is no physical product such as a CD or DVD, and only a code is sold)
- Lottery products
- Event tickets (including those you attend on-site and those you participate in online)

4. Products that the shop restricts from purchase from overseas
Products that the shop restricts from overseas shipping or products that cannot be proxy purchased. This applies when the product page has notes such as "no overseas shipping" or "Japan domestic only."
Products that can be proxy purchased but require care in use
Among products made for the Japanese domestic market, there are some that can be proxy purchased but cannot be used correctly in the destination country. Typical examples are the following, but there are also other applicable products. Before ordering, please be sure to check whether the product's specifications can be used in the destination country.
Electrical appliances with voltage or standards for the Japanese domestic market
Japanese electrical appliances support a voltage of 100V. If it differs from the voltage of the destination country, a transformer may be needed, or it may not be usable. The shape of the plug may also differ from Japan, so a conversion plug may be needed.

Products that link with services within Japan
Products that link with apps or services within Japan may not be connectable from overseas. The following are examples.
- Products that link with apps available only within Japan
- Products that link with Japanese TV programs or streaming services
Products other than the above
Other than the above, products made on the premise of use within Japan may not be usable in the destination country. Check whether the product page has notes such as the following.
- Notations such as "for use within Japan only" or "domestic specification"
- Restrictions on operating environment, supported regions, or supported languages
- The region covered by warranty or support
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted for reasons such as the product being unusable after purchase. Please make sure to review the product specifications before ordering.
