At WorldShopping, items are packed using methods appropriate to the type of product. Standard items are secured with cushioning material and packed in a cardboard box. Fragile or breakable items are wrapped in bubble wrap and packed securely. For large or specially shaped items, specialized packaging such as pallet packing may be utilized.
Standard packing method (clothing, sundries, etc.)
Standard items such as clothing, shoes, bags, and daily goods are secured with cushioning material to prevent them from shifting during transit, and packed in a cardboard box.
- If a product arrives without any internal packaging, it is placed in a clear plastic bag for protection.
- The gaps inside the cardboard box are filled with cushioning paper (paper roll) to prevent the item from shifting during transit.
- For items with a low risk of damage, such as clothing and shoes, bubble wrap is not used.
Packing method for fragile and breakable items
Fragile or breakable items are packed more securely than standard packaging to prevent damage during transit.
Examples of applicable products:
- Ceramics and glass products (tableware, vases, etc.)
- Bottled products (alcohol, seasonings, etc.)
- Precision instruments and musical instruments
Packing features:
- The product is wrapped in bubble wrap and secured with cushioning material to prevent it from shifting inside the box.
- For bottled products, the top side (up/down orientation) is clearly marked during packaging to prevent leaks.
- A "Fragile" sticker is attached to the outside of the cardboard box.
Large products and items requiring special packaging
For large or specially shaped items, specialized packaging such as pallet packing may be utilized to prevent damage during transit.
Examples of large products: furniture, home appliances, artworks, etc.
Special packaging incurs a separate fee. If specialized packaging is required, WorldShopping will contact the customer regarding the details and applicable fees.
