At WorldShopping, we perform a "product check" on all items delivered to our customers. When an item arrives at the WorldShopping warehouse, we compare the order details and the product page with the actual item to ensure everything matches and there are no visible issues.
Inspection details
Our inspections are conducted only to the extent possible while the product remains unopened. Specifically, we check the following:
- Whether the received item matches the order details (item type and quantity)
- Whether there are any obvious scratches or damage to the external appearance
- Whether there are any discrepancies between the product page information and the received item
Items excluded from inspection
The following are not subject to our inspection:
- Product checks that require opening the packaging (such as breaking seals or plastic wrapping)
- Inspection of minor flaws (such as fine scratches, dents, chips, dirt, or rust)
- Product checks that require specialized knowledge or skills beyond general knowledge
- Functionality or operational checks for electronics, precision instruments, etc.
- Content verification for recording media (such as CDs, MDs, floppy disks, DVDs, etc.)
- Authenticity verification for branded items
- Quantity or assembly checks for multi-part items (such as plastic models)
- Product checks that require assembly, disassembly, or removing items from their internal packaging
